About AAPPTF
The All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) was founded in the year 2000 with the vision of uniting various transport organizations across the state under one common platform. It was established to bring together bodies such as the Bus Union, Taxi Union, Trekker Union, Tempo Union, Truck Union, Auto rickshaw Union, and others to collectively address the concerns and welfare of the public transport community. Shri John Panye served as the Founder President, providing strong and visionary leadership. Late Kabak Sala, as the General Secretary, played a pivotal role in laying the foundation of the Federation and worked tirelessly toward its development and unity.

Members should contact their respective district units or the central grievance cell in Itanagar. The AAPPTF frequently mediates with neighboring states (like Assam) to ensure the smooth movement of our vehicles.
Is it mandatory for commercial vehicles to have AAPPTF stickers?
The federation issues official stickers and identity cards to its registered members to ensure they are recognized as part of the organized trade union, which helps in collective bargaining and safety coordination.
Does the AAPPTF provide training for drivers?
Yes. We regularly organize Traffic Awareness Programs and Exposure Tours to educate drivers on road safety, new traffic regulations, and customer care to improve the public transport experience.
