Today, the Executive Members of the AAPPTF Trade Union are proceeding to Key Panyor, Pitapool, Yachuli to offer heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Late Dr. Bengia Tolum.
We pay our deepest respect to a great social worker and noble human being who dedicated his entire life to the welfare of society and the people of Arunachal Pradesh. His immense contributions, selfless service, and lifelong dedication will always be remembered with honour, respect, and gratitude.

We are deeply shocked and extremely saddened by the untimely demise of former President Nishi Elite Society(NES) Shri Bengia Tolum Ji, a renowned social worker of the Nyishi community and the entire state of Arunachal Pradesh. He lived an exemplary life and inspired generations through his dedication, humility, and selfless service to society.
His immense contributions towards the welfare of the people and the progress of the state will always be remembered and cherished forever. His passing is an irreparable loss not only to the Nyishi community but to the whole of Arunachal Pradesh.

The AAPPTF Siang District Unit, Boleng, led by Shri Tarjing Takoh President of the District Unit, and Shri Talom Tatak, Gen Secretary, along with the executive members, had the honour and privilege of meeting Deputy Commissioner, Siang District, Shri Tayi Taggu, IAS; Superintendent of Police, Shri James K. Lego, IPS; ADC Pangin, Shri Gamtum Padu; and Ms Sonia Mahi, District Transport Officer, Siang District, Boleng, to discuss several important matters concerning the welfare and development of the commercial transport sector.
The meeting focused primarily on the parking issues faced by Bolero Pickup operators due to the increasing pressure of Sumo parking operations, the urgent requirement for a proper and systematic parking space, and the matter relating to the location of the booking counter area for the convenience and welfare of owners, drivers, and passengers alike.
The interaction was highly constructive and positive, reflecting a spirit of mutual understanding, cooperation, and commitment towards strengthening transport management and ensuring better public convenience in the district.
On the occasion, the official calendar of the All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) Trade Union was also formally handed over to the District Administration and Police Administration as a gesture of goodwill, coordination, and continued cooperation.
The meeting concluded on a very positive note, with kind assurances of support and coordination from the administration towards improved commercial transport, parking place smoother operations, and greater public service in the region.

The Farewell-cum-Felicitation Programme of the TMWA was conducted successfully in the gracious presence of the State President, accompanied by Shri Tarh Takash, Shri Techi Kaso, Shri Tagru Tari, Shri Risso Tari, and Shri Charu Josi.
During the programme, heartfelt farewell and deep appreciation were accorded to the outgoing executive members in recognition of their sincere dedication, tireless service, and valuable contributions towards the welfare of owners and drivers under the banner of the AAPPTF Trade Union.
The women’s team of TMWAN presented colourful welcome songs, traditional dances, and cultural entertainment performances, adding immense warmth, dignity, and vibrant cultural spirit to the celebration.
On the occasion, I delivered a strong message of unity, discipline, accountability, and collective responsibility to the newly elected executive team, urging them to work with honesty, transparency, dedication, and close coordination with the State AAPPTF for the welfare, dignity, and progress of the transport community.
I further called upon all members to strengthen the spirit of cooperation, mutual respect, and organisational unity for building a stronger, disciplined, and progressive transport fraternity across the State.











Today, 8th May 2026, the Doimukh Interaction-cum-Appointment Programme of the Doimukh Auto Tempo Taxi Association[DATTA] under the banner of AAPPTF Trade Unio was successfully held in the gracious presence of Chief Guest Shri Padang Sangyu Ji, District Transport Officer, and Guest of Honour Shri Tana Akan Ji, President, Papum Pare District Unit AAPPTF.
I was also honoured to attend the programme as Special Guest, accompanied by Shri Toko Tadap Ji, Vice President; Shri Tara Natam Ji, AGS; and Shri Tagru Tari Ji, Co-Convenor AAPPTF, along with district executive members.
The programme reflected unity, cooperation, and commitment towards strengthening the transport fraternity and organisational development. Valuable discussions were held on traffic awareness, road safety, the harmful effects of drugs, and the importance of keeping all vehicle documents updated on time.
It was also emphasised that proper coordination must be maintained with the District Transport Officer and guidance of the parental body, AAPPTF, should always be respected. Together with the police and district administration, we must work collectively for the betterment and progress of the transport sector and public welfare.











On 6th May 2026, the All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) Trade Union successfully organised the By-laws Review-cum-Calendar Launching and Membership Card Distribution Programme under the leadership of the undersigned, State President.
The programme was proudly graced by AAPPTF Founder President-cum-Chief Advisor Shri John Panye as the Special Guest, along with Former Secretary General-cum-Advisor Shri Tarh Kaha. All Federal Unit Presidents, Secretaries, representatives, and State Executive Members were present and extended their valuable support and participation.
The successful conduct of this important programme reflects the unity, strength, discipline, and collective commitment of the AAPPTF family towards protecting the rights, dignity, and welfare of the public transport community across Arunachal Pradesh.

Due to the non-functioning of the All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) Trade Union, Siang District Unit, for more than one and a half years, a coordination meeting regarding the Re-shuffling of new executive members was conducted on 2nd May 2026 at Boleng Circuit House, Siang District, under my chairmanship.
The meeting was attended by all executive members of the Siang District Unit in the Presence of Shri Eiinsten Ratan, President, E/Siang Dist & Shri Kento Ete, Gen Secy W/Siang Dist and Shri David Lego, General Secy East Siang District Unit, Cum drafted the meeting minutes.
Various important matters concerning the organisation and welfare of the commercial transport and drivers’ community were discussed during the meeting.
The members present in the house unanimously selected/elected Shri Tajing Takok as the new President, Shri Talom Tatak as Gen Secretary, Shri Nanong Ering as Fin Secretary, and Shri Tabuk Tasing, former District President, as Advisor of the AAPPTF Siang District Unit.

Today, I have the privilege and honour to attend the International Labour Day celebration on 1st May 2026 at East Siang District, Pasighat organized by the APTUF, District Unit.
The programme was graced by Chief Guest Shri Tapi Darang, Hon’ble Local MLA, and Guests of Honour Shri Tadam Haging, ZPM Talia Daporijo, Shri Tagom Padung, Chief Councillor PMC, Adv. Kamin Lego, Dy CC, PMC, Shri Eiasten Ratan President and Shri David Lego, Gen Secretary of AAPPTF District Unit Pasighat, Shri Okom Yosung, Chairman BBLAC, Mrs Oti Panggeng, President ESDVA and Mrs Anjuli Ering, Gen Secretary.
It is truly inspiring to witness the unity, dedication, and contribution of workers and labourers towards the development of society and the welfare of the people.

In the sideline of attending as Special Guest in the occasion of International Labour Day Celebration which is to be celebrated on 1st May,2026 at Pasighat conducted by APTUF, East Siang District Unit I had attended a coordination meeting with All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) Trade Union East Siang District Unit, led by President Mr Einstein Ratan & Shri David lego Gen Secy and discussed important issues related to commercial transport services of the district where Shri Marik Loyi, District Transport Officer (DTO), East Siang District also attended the discussion.
All the executive members of federal units and their representatives attended the meeting and actively participated in the discussions.
During the meeting, we discussed regarding commercial transport parking spaces, fare rates related to autorickshaws and e-rickshaws, updating of road tax, and plying permits for commercial vehicles.
The gathering emphasised coordination, discipline, unity, and collective efforts for the welfare of the transport community and the smooth functioning of public transport services across the district.
District Transport Officer (DTO) Shri Marik Loyi warmly welcomed the initiative and appreciated the efforts of the AAPPTF leadership. He assured that, after detailed discussions with the district AAPPTF President and representative of federal units the necessary proposals would be forwarded to the concerned authorities and the public for effective implementation and better governance of the transport sector.






REMEMBERING our BELOVED former Chief Minister, LATE DORJEE KHANDU ,with deep respect and heartfelt tribute on his death anniversary.
Today, the state stands with the people of Arunachal Pradesh in remembering a deeply emotional and sorrowful day. On this day in 2011, we lost our former Chief Minister, the late Shri Dorjee Khandu Shab ji. His passing was a great political and personal loss for the entire state.
He was a simple, humble, and visionary leader who always worked for the development, infrastructure, and a brighter future of Arunachal Pradesh. He believed in the spirit of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” and dedicated himself wholeheartedly to the welfare of every citizen, every brother, and every sister of the state.
Today, the people of Arunachal Pradesh remember him with deep respect and heartfelt prayers. May his noble soul rest in eternal peace, and may God bless and protect his family with strength and comfort.

Today, 19th April 2026, a meeting of the All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) Trade Union—the apex body of commercial transport in the State of Arunachal Pradesh—was held at the Union Head Office, Papu Nallah, Naharlagun, under the chairmanship of State President Shri Dobing Sonam.
(A) During the meeting, eight ( Appointment Certificates were formally handed over to newly inducted Executive Members of the State AAPPTF from various federal units of the Itanagar Capital Region (ICR). They have been inducted as State Executive Office Bearers of the AAPPTF Trade Union:

(B) Secondly, an important discussion was held regarding the Arunachal Pradesh Motor Transport Workers Welfare Fund Board (APMTWWFB). The concerned file is currently in its final stage under the consideration of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Shri Pema Khandu Ji.
(3) Thirdly, it was decided that the AAPPTF Trade Union By-law Review Meeting will be held on 1st May 2026 at the Union Head Office, Papu Nallah, Naharlagun

Late Sechin Ajang was a dedicated and committed member whose contributions towards the organisation and the welfare of the transport community will always be remembered. His sincerity, leadership, and service have left a lasting impact on all of us.

A distinguished 1995-batch APCS officer, Shri Tsering brings with him a wealth of administrative experience. Before this appointment, he was serving as Commissioner of Tax, Excise & Narcotics. Over the years, he has held several important positions, including EAC Itanagar, ADC Tawang, and Joint Secretary to the Governor.
He received a warm welcome from administrative officers at Yupia upon his arrival.
During his interaction with the officers, Shri Tsering emphasised the need for coordinated efforts, efficient governance, and a strong commitment to public service to ensure the holistic development of the district.

Today, on 21st March 2026 at Hotel Rising Sun, Bara pani (Naharlagun), I had the honour to attend the 7th General Conference of Tata Mobile Welfare Association Naharlagun (TMWAN) as the Chief Guest in my capacity as State President of All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) Trade Union.
I was accompanied by our respected team members – State Working President Shri Techi Freed, & Secretary General Shri Kipa Saktar, Vice Presidents Shri Toko Tadap and Shri Dabo Loda, along with leaders from various transport unions and associations across the Capital Complex and Papum Pare district.
Despite the occasion of the Eid festival, around 70% of owners and drivers attended the conference. Many of our Muslim brothers and sisters could not join due to the festival, and we extend our warm Eid greetings to them.
On this important occasion, under the leadership of Shri Tarh Kaha, President TMWAN Cum Organising Chairman of the conference, I had the privilege to appoint 10 New Executive Members[NEM] to strengthen the organisation and work towards the welfare and unity of all transport workers.

Today, 16th March 2026, the 2nd General Conference cum Election/Selection of the All A-Sector to Ganga Tempo Welfare Association (AASGTWA) Trade Union was successfully held at Nyedar Namlo, Itanagar. The programme was also conducted in affiliation with the All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) Trade Union.
